This workpackage evaluates and ensures the progress of the other workpackages. Moreover, assistance regarding the goals of the other workpackages is given. Occurring challenges will be discussed at the Steering Committee (SC) meeting to find feasible solutions. Next, the SC makes a detailed action plan and appoints the quality manager. The progress of the workpackages as well as challenges are discussed during SC meetings. The Committee on Ethical Standards is responsible for setting and monitoring ethical guidelines. An independent Advisory Board convenes at month 9, 21 and 34 at the premises of the Executive Agency in Luxembourg and advises on the optimal course of the project and dissemination of results. Next, the team ensures the communication including visits, maintaining the project website, creating newsletters and organising web conferences. Last, all financial and administrative tasks are managed by the communication workpackage. Interim technical and financial reports are composed according to the requirements of the European Commission. Furthermore, all other communication with the European Union, particularly with Directorate General Health and Consumers Affairs (DG SANCO), European Commission.
